Elections!

Currently, we only have two officers at the national level--myself, and Marcus Kesler, head of the State Advisory Board. Besides the open positions on the SAB, we have openings for the Operations, Promotions, Records, Legal, and Financial officers, and at last count, four willing candidates to fill three of these positions. Jay Emerson is running for Operations, Bradley Rush is running for Records, and Travis McCrea and Nathaniel Blanchard are running for Promotions.

The last meeting set a date for elections--February 16th--which means that that last day to announce candidacy or nominate somebody else is the 9th, as per the Constitution. Information on the various positions can be found at http://memwiki.pirate-party.us/index.php?title=Constitution

To announce candidacy, it has to be a public place, but it would also be beyond awesome if any such candidates could drop me a message just so that I know you're in the race, in case I overlook your announcement. Thanks, and good luck to our current, and potential candidates!
