Blog, blog and blog again!

Regarding reaching out to people I think it is important to make use of the blogosphere.

In Sweden the political blogosphere has had quite a few successes in regards to using blogging as a tool of voicing opinion.

A first step for you guys, in my humble opinion, would be to endorse the bloggers of your party. In Sweden we have an excellent site for that which automatically keep track of pirate-blogs and publish them as kind of a hub for piratism:

Internet of Things - Prolonged Detention - Martial Law Camps

“In our constitutional system,” Mr. Obama said, “prolonged detention should not be the decision of any one man....Mr. Obama chose to call his proposal “prolonged detention,” which made it sound more reassuring than some of its more familiar names. In some countries, it is called “administrative detention,” a designation with a slightly totalitarian ring.

Swiss (Pirate Party Swiss) - They present a short summary about ACTA after they took part in a debate. It's about the content and the status quo of ACTA.
It's german language. You probably may have to use a translator:

Thomas-Resset vs. RIAA

http://arstechnica.com/tech-policy/news/2010/02/remarkable-third-trial-c...
"Thomas-Rasset was first hit with a $222,000 damage award in her first trial, which the judge later vacated when he ordered a second trial. That second trial, in mid-2009, landed Thomas-Rasset with $1.92 million in damages. The judge, calling it a "monstrous" verdict, slashed it to $54,000 on remittitur, and he gave the recording industry a few days to decide if they would accept the lower award or proceed to a third trial.

Candidacy for Operations officer (Feb 2010 - July 2010)

Pirates,
Hi. Most of you probably are well aware as to who I am. I am Glenn Kerbein, and I'm more than certain we've had one conversation or the other. If not, here's some background:
I currently work full time to support myself, and I'm a part-time student at the local community college. I'm undecided in direction still, and that hasn't posed a problem. I've been Co-Administrator, Administrator, Co-administrator, and then average citizen.
I know the party's inter-workings fairly well, and have a pretty solid following in the international arena.

Announcement of Candidacy - operations officer

I'm announcing my candidacy for the position of ops officer.

I know I previously stated I wouldn't run for office, but I feel it's needed.

Unlike some, I don't make promises I don't deliver on, blow up every time I'm asked a question, nor do I profess to be an expert on a topic, yet be unable to find basic information on that topic.

Publicly funded elections

I highly HIGHLY suggest making publicly funded elections part of the platform, especially after the Citizens United decision. We can't have corporations owning politicians.

In that vein, I suggest the PPUS should endorse Move to Amend.
